Kids design candy boxes to explore the geometric model of multiplication - with Legos!

This could be a neat ornament for kids to make for the holidays. Not too Christmas and would definitely cover fine motor skills.

I saw this ornament last year and tried it at a holiday craft fair for kids and adults. I had red and green crochet cotton as well as silver and gold. I added glitter glue, metallic Sharpies, and a bucket of colorful rhinestones I got at the craft store to the available materials. Everyone from preschoolers to adults loved creating this craft. There were some incredibly gorgeous ornaments!

Looks fun and easy. Sparkly bits sound good, too.

Did this with my prek students, but on a bigger scale. They made big stars using precut cardboard shapes from the craft store.

We did this during Halloween and made a spider web and added the spider! Fun!!

love this use of old paint tins - when they're empty, make sure you use the dregs to colour the inside and front edge, then dry and use - match the decor!
