      Cake Batter Rice Krispy Treats. You will probably never make regular rice crispy treats again. 3 Tbsp. butter 1 (10 oz.) bag of mini-marshmallows 1/4 cup yellow cake mix (the dry cake mix, not prepared into a batter!) 6 cups crispy rice cereal 1 (1.75 oz.) container of sprinkles Method: Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat and add marshmallows. Stir until they begin to melt, adding in (dry) cake mix one spoonful at a time so its combined. Stir in cereal and let set

    CAKE BATTER RICE KRISPIE TREATS This recipe calls for one and a half cups of cake mix.  There is about three cups in a box.  So what to do with the remaining mix?  Seal it up and save it for another batch of these or make cake batter truffles or a batch of cookies to use up the mix.

    Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats. I would add 1/3 c cake mix next time instead of 1/4 (I used white cake mix, I prefer it to the yellow). Also increase the butter by 1 tb.

    I don't know if that's frosting or what, but I imagine it as that delicious fruit dip that combines whipped cream and strawberry yogurt... hmmm....
