Use paint brushes in sensory play
Salt sensory table. Add tools that offer children many different ways to explore like objects to build with and paint brushes...
(1) take computer paper - write a word, letter, name, etc. in ** big bold print**. (2) put the paper underneath a clear plastic tub. (3) put sand in the bucket - ** not to much**, yet not to little either. (4) TLW write, read, spell words using a paint brush in sand, with visual support. By adding the piece of paper with a word already written (must use plastic container) the learner now has a guide. Spelling patterns/chunks/etc. should all be written using a different color. - Sensory Tubs
