Molding to frames. Brilliant, because I can never find awesome chunky frames when I go thrifting. OMG Yes.

DIY: Glue two frames together for a chunkier look and if they don't match, paint them! This frame was distressed with sandpaper.

I've done this same idea, but instead of lace I used screen (like from a screen door) and stapled it to the back. I like the option of hanging necklaces on this one though. Good idea.

very clever. :), very cute, very simple, very cheap... very fun.... re-purpose an old frame, or find one at yard sales, thrift stores... paint if need be and put it around the thermostat.... will be framing mine soon... green, recycle, upcycle project alert!
