The wreckage of the car in which Albert C. Barnes was killed July 24, 1951, when he ran a stop sign and the vehicle was struck by a truck near Paoli. The Packard convertible, its top and two doors torn off, was hurled 40 feet into a nearby field. Barnes was killed instantly. He was 78.
