Love the old window and the shelf above kitchen sink, beautiful kitchen window idea :-)

I was specifically looking for shelves in windows for plants, but a shelf over the kitchen sink could be really useful! If you used a mesh shelf you could even use it to dry cups or glasses straight into the sink. If you have a great view out your kitchen window then I'd hate to obscure that, but since I'm staring at a brick wall some greenery or even just something practical would be a welcome relief.

Cottage Style Bathroom... This design is very cute... but I would like it better if the green was much lighter...

Give an old window new life by turning it into a rustic cupboard. Construct a three-sided box to fit the window. Install shelves to align with the window muntins. Then attach the window to the front with flat hinges. Now you've created nooks to display pottery and other treasures.

This is very much my style--open, natural wood shelving, and all the dishes are cute. And there are polka dots!

Open cabinets and mismatched vintage dishes- yes please!

Activate the space in front of a window as bonus storage. Mount shelves in front of the window by either anchoring them in to the wall or along the sides of upper cabinets. This handy solution can also block a not-so-great outside view while allowing light to come in from the window

still loving open shelves... maybe short ones above the coffee maker for coffee beans, mugs, etc.

Things I love about this kitchen: farmhouse sink, glass cabinet doors, old window panel at the top and the shelf across the window, the old tin tile back splash, need I go on??
