This is the quilt that "evolved" from my desire to make Mandy Shaw's "Crazy Linen Throw" kit larger. I added some more Stof linen fabric and two plains. I decorated the plain fabrics with embroidered and appliqued designs from Mandy Shaw, Janet Clare and Caroline Zoob

Patchwork quilt top, small hexagonal or honeycomb patches forming large diamonds, set off by single row white muslin hexagons, cut-out to fit a four poster bed. Colored fabric consists of variety of early 19th century block and roller printed examples. Pattern called Mosaic or Flower Garden with path variation. Made by Letitia Frear Mosley (1797-1886) Mrs. Richard Miles.
