classroom fingerprint art ~ do as a group and then copy off - original stays in classroom and every classmate gets a framed copy. May be good auction idea.

Smith School Auction project???? CLASS FINGERPRINT ART: What an amazing gift for a teacher! Assign a different color for each child in the class. Lightly trace a simple, but elegant outline on a large sheet of paper. Have the students take turns dipping their fingers in their paint color and adding it to the design. At the bottom of the page have each student sign the art by writing their name under their color dot. <3

Inspired by the melted crayon art, I created this splatter paint project so I could talk to my Kindergarteners about the weather in the spring, "April showers bring May flowers!" They LOOOVED getting messy with the splatter paint. And the kids who don't consider themselves artists loved that they didn't have to touch their brush to their paper! Lots of fun! (Image Only)
