    Nat King Cole was born on Mar. 17,1919 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a musician with a soft baritone voice. Mr. Cole started out as a piano man learning from his mother, but later discovered his voice. Performing with bands and jazz genres brought whites and blacks together to listen to his music. Touring with his band, he earned gigs and became the first African-American performer to host a variety TV series in 1956. Famous songs:"The Christmas Song," "Mona Lisa," and "Nature Boy"
