From Common to the Core: A tribute to all elementary school teachers. After I was a sub for a third grade classroom, for just one day, I came home with a whole new appreciation for all that you do. Anyone who doubts how hard teachers work should take charge of 30 third-graders for a day and meet the "must-do" list left by the real teacher. (No, I'm not a third grade teacher....that one day left me scarred for life ;)
thanks middle school teachers. There's a reason I chose elementary school.

Beginning of school. This would even work in middle school. My kids love the David books (yes, I take them from my 6-year-old to share with my 8th graders!).
Middle School Math: I would definitely use this in math stations or for students who finish assignments early to play. This ap has to do with ordering numbers, place value, and sorting multiples.
Because calling something "gay" when you really meant "dumb" makes you look like the idiot. STOP using "gay" as an insult.
