Jim’s wife Linda says of her husband and the buffalo: “They have shared a bond since Bailey Junior was only a few weeks old when we adopted him after the tragic death of the first buffalo that Jim and I had raised. Bailey Sr had become a family member. I guess he became our baby. I know that sounds bizarre.” Picture: Sautner Family / Barcroft USA (via Pictures of the day: 9 November 2011 - Telegraph)

Cute Emergency on

// bison mama and baby

Previous pinner said: I'm loving the fact that I've changed a few peoples opinions about rats with my photos of Bug. Rats are such lovely animals, they're so misunderstood. I have had three rats all in all, and each one has been totally different. Bug thinks she's human, I'm sure of it. She acts like a baby and I treat her like mine. In my opinion, they're just as good pets as cats and dogs.
