Beef stew.......This was really good. I used green beans instead of peas and added a little extra ketchup. Only thing I would really change, is to cook it for close to an hour more than it called for. Otherwise the meat won't be tender enough.

Braised pork with blistered tomatillos, Made this on 2/16/2012. It was decent but lacked a depth of flavor that a good spice mixture would probably cure.. cumin, chili powder, etc. Something to balance the tartness of the tomatillos too. I would also cut the potato pieces much smaller.

Michael Smith, Old Fashioned Beef Stew I never have red wine, so I either use a bottle of beer or more beef stock. Best stew ever, as long as you take the time to brown the meat!
