Focus - Comprehension/Monitor your thinking; Directions - Students use sticky notes to annotate to passages or stories that they read. Example - Student places a sticky note with an exclamation point on a page of a book that was very surprising to her.

Adjective Anchor Chart. This gives the students something to think about when using adjectives to describe their noun in their writing. I think this would be fun and interactive. This would probably be used more in the lower elementary grades.
