The construction would continue throughout the centuries, with additions and renovations carried out every century since. It is said to be  haunted by a jester called Thomas Skelton and the ghosts of the Tapestry Room. It also has a ghost thought to be  of the murdered Mary Bragg - a "White Lady" wondering the gardens…

Warwick Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument whose history can be traced back to the 11th century. A timber motte and bailey castle was constructed on the site during the Norman Conquest and subsequently rebuilt in stone. The castle was further developed over the intervening centuries and, despite being partially destroyed by fire in 1871, remains an excellent example of a medieval fortress, complete with dungeons, towers and turrets
