Frizzle Mutt rooster--he has that "I just endured a hurricane look".

Mean rooster . . .everytime I went thru the chicken yard to the outhouse at grandpa's his rooster would chase me. One morning he chased me thru the chicken yard, over the fence, thru the backyard, up the back steps and specked at the back door after I ran thru. That evening we had him for dinner but I couldn't bring myself to eat him even if he was mean.

remembering our chicken farm days when Brittany was young...we named all the chicks and they were so unique.....taught her a lot of biology and psychology out at the chicken pen....lol

Polish frizzle bantam ... Love this one! One of the more unusual looking chickens you may run across is the Frizzle. Frizzled chickens are not so much a breed, as a type of bird. Any breed of chicken can be bred to be frizzled, but the most commonly seen Frizzles are based on Cochins, Plymouth Rocks, Japanese, and Polish chickens. Can we talk about having an exotic chicken coop, please?

Polish Frizzle - Bantam Bearded Blue Hen. We had a frizzle once...pretty little birds. We also had the meanest buff polish rooster in the history of evil roosters! But he was pretty.

Someday i'll have laying hens again.
