Learning to Fall: The Blessings of an Imperfect Life by Philip Simmons. The author discovered he had Lou Gehrig's disease in his early 30's. This book is a collection of stories about his childhood, how he comes to grips with dying, and thoughts about life in general. Some of them are very poignant. I enjoyed it.
