Marilyn Monroe first appeared on the silver screen in small, largely forgettable roles in the Asphalt Jungle and All About Eve. That led to a seven-year contract that led to her first big part in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, followed by the super hit The Seven Year Itch in 1955. Marilyn Monroe won critical acclaim in Bus Stop, but never completed her final movie, The Misfits, with Clark Gable.
Marilyn Monroe I have this poster in my room. It's sad to me that people didn't take the time to learn more about who she was and just judged her by the roles she played. Reading her autobiography- it's easy to see how wise and spiritual she was.
I can get high yeah I can get high like I could never come down call it a curse or just call me blessed if you cant handle my worst you aint gettin my best - Marilyn Monroe
"My illusions didn't have anything to do with being a fine actress. I knew how third rate I was. I could actually feel my lack of talent, as if it were cheap clothes I was wearing inside. But, my God, how I wanted to learn, to change, to improve!" Marilyn Monroe
