Old forks as picture holders or recipe card holders?!

  • Jana Youngblood

Bend old forks into picture displays for pics, place cards or holding recipes. DIRECTIONS Picture-frame stand 1. With needle-nose pliers, bend the two inner fork prongs backward and slightly outward to create an upside-down V. 2. Slightly bend the two outer prongs forward and out. Also bend the tips of the outer prongs up so the picture can sit on the fork and not slide off. 3. Use your picture frame as a guide to see how the fork will stand up. You might need to adjust to create the correct balance.

Fork Bracelet. No website for how to make this, but w/the right tools & fork, the picture gives an idea of how to bend the fork tines.

Love rings made from silver spoons & forks & butter knives. They can also be used to make bangles & bangles. I have a butter knife bracelet - the knife part was kept on, so you can tell what it is...looks a little strange but makes for an interesting piece of jewelry.

Maine - Old , vintage wooden hangers (or new) mounted on the wall upside down.... great idea! Way cute! Great wash cloth & towel rack... great in other rooms too, ie laundry room. Could paint them great in a nursery with wooden baby hangers.... I see these hangers sold in bunches at thrift stores and yard sales often.... could easily paint them.... to match any decor!

fun to paint - would make great gifts for kids - fun to use for spelling words - whimsical fridge decor with magnets - #StoneCrafts #CraftsForKids #Crafts - pb†
