The only stain remover you will ever need! 1 part Dawn dishwashing liquid 2 parts hydrogen peroxide I poured the cleaner right on the spots and used an old toothbrush to make sure it really got into the carpet. Homemade Stain Remover: •one part Dawn dishwashing liquid soap, •two parts hydrogen peroxide, •add some baking soda for extra scrubbing power (1-2 Tbsp). Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Use a small brush to scrub. Rinse. For tough stains, you can let the mixture sit on the garment for an hour or so, then launder as usual.
This can be used to remove laundry stains, urine in carpets, and even de-skunk your dog! The catch is to only make what you will use at one time. And only use on light colored carpet or colorfast materials....I use baby shampoo instead of Dawn when de-skunking, because its mild and smells good...plus it doesnt irritate the eyes if you need to get close." data-componentType="MODAL_PIN
