5 easy set-up centers for your classroom - I can see this being used for sight words!

Fun idea when you have a sub: don't tell the kids where you are and then have them write about where they think you are/what they think happened to you.-----Oh, my gosh these are so cute!!! I subbed in a classroom today, where the teacher did this. I read the story "Miss Nelson is Missing" first. They were adorable!!! I can't wait for Mrs. Victory to see what are sweet students did. :)

1st Grade Spelling Lists That Make Sense-Students practice a word family or skill for the week then apply what they've learned to the rest of their words! Practice high frequency words too!

Listening Center....I am going to move my center to the window shelf and get some cute bar stools. Love this idea and it will allow me to remove a table! :)

Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits: Surviving One More Week. One thing that caught my eye here was her low-cost "Minute to win it" game ideas for the last day of school! I can't imagine having to keep a roomful of kids entertained on the last day, but thought I'd share for those who will have to. :-)
