DIY pebble rug, I would spray paint my pebbles before applying. I would also do this for place mats.

DIY river rock mat: River Rock, liquid nails and a cheap door mat. I did this- love this project. I've made two so far. I finished it off with a sealer to give the rocks some shine, can't remember if that was in the directions or not.

DIY Peddle Mat. Pebble mats can be made into table runners, place mats, trivets, doormats, etc. The possibilities are endless. Step-by-step instructions. If a pebble comes loose (which will happen occasionally) just hot glue it back in place.

This would be a great mat for outdoors as well as inside. Can't you just see it with a nice potted plant sitting on it!
