Made From Scratch Biscuits are a regular item we make in our house. So glad my daughter (who is close to finishing her degree in Nutrition) found this recipe for biscuits that use whole wheat pastry flour. [each of my cookies came out to be 60 calories] Clean Eating Recipes -- the choco peanut butter ones - DELICIOUS. Make sure you have people around to share. I didn't have husks or chia but used flax seed instead. It was fine :)
Granola... 3 cups rolled oats, ½ cup chopped walnuts, ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce, ¼ cup honey, 2 tsp cinnamon. mix oats and walnuts in one bowl, mix remaining ingredients with a whisk. Pour wet ingredients with oats and blend well. Spread over parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake 45-60 minutes, stir every 15 so it doesn’t stick/burn. It’s done when it has a nice golden brown color.
Clean Eating Pumpkin Smoothie, 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup pumpkin ( I used canned and organic), 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (no sugar added), 2 tbsp. whey powder. Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend till smooth.
