Robe a l'anglaise and petticoat, c.1780. Pink and white striped silk brocaded with floral sprays, sprigs and trailing garlands of flowers; petticoat, blue silk satin, hand quilted in a pattern of vining flowers and foliage that is denser at the bottom, sparser toward the top. It has a glazed wool lining, white cotton waistband with hook and eye closure.
