Sleep and Dream Tea 2 Tbsp organic Spearmint 1 Tbsp organic Chamomile 1 Tbsp organic St. John’s Wort 1 Tbsp organic Nettle Leaf 1 Tbsp organic Rosebuds 1 Tbsp organic dried Orange or Lemon Peel Without any sweetener or add a little local, organic honey. Grandmother give us spoonful before bed, said it gave “sweet dreams.” The truth is complex sugars in honey may help regulate the blood sugar, allowing a sound night’s sleep without waking with a rumbly tummy. Or sweeten w/stevia.

Directions: Roughly crush a mix of spices and tea with mortar and pestle. // Fold and stitch the filter paper into bags leaving one side open. Fill the bags with the tea and spice mix. Fold down the open side of the bag and stitch it closed. // To make tags, cut embroidery thread into 8-10 cm pieces, one for each bag. Tear paper into small tags and staple them to the ends of each thread. Make a little knot at the other end of the thread and staple it to the bag. // Brew the tea with almost-boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes. Serve with steamed milk and enjoy.
