Homework BINGO - When students turn their homework in each morning, they get to write their name on any square. On Friday, teacher pulls out two bingo chips.Whichever names are on that square get to pick out of the treasure box at the end of the day.
This clothespin system will help you keep track of who has turned in their homework. Numbers corresponding to students on one side of clothes pin and smiley face on the other. Students flip their clothespin to the smiley face when they turn things in.
Students have to write in a log every time they do not turn in their homework on time and explain themselves. This helps teachers keep track of how many times the same student does not do his/her homework and establishes accountability.
Brownie Points class reward system-when the class gets a compliment from someone other than myself for good behavior they will earn a brownie for their pan. When the pan gets full of brownies the class gets a special treat.
A great way to have students turn in their homework. I don't have enough wall space, so maybe a binder OR hanging file folder? I'd love to just not do homework.I think I'll call students to line up for recess as I pull out their homework :)

[Instead of homework, it could be "Our class has returned ALL library books __ library classes in a row! Maybe add a no cost prize after a certain number of days.like ten extra minutes of recess.free time etc.
File crate with each student's name on it. File work for them to do when they are "done" that is differentiated. you can also put work in there that they need extra practice with. I'm thinking big YES! :) extra work for brownie points
If I could figure out a way to create something similar for Hall Rules, except in Spanish, then this would be applicable to my class. A good way to manage student behavior in the hallway when they are a part of your class at the moment.
