Playing off the word tort, in law meaning, noncriminal conduct done by one person that causes injury or financial loss to another. A breach of contract can bring about a tort of intentional interference. The necessary elements include a valid contract must exist between two parties. Second, a third party must aware of the existence of the contract. Lastly, the third party must intentionally cause one of the contracting parties to break the contract and do business with the third party.
