Top of Stone Mountain -- a quartz monzonite dome in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At its summit, the elevation is 1,686' and 825' above the surrounding area. It's a 1.3 mi hike to the top, but a tram is also available. It is also known for the enormous bas-relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. Three figures of the Confederate States of America are carved there: Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis.
