"I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles." - Audrey Hepburn photo by Philippe Halsman

"Me gusta la gente que me hace reír. Sinceramente, creo que reír es la cosa que más me gusta. Cura una multitud de males y es probablemente la cosa más importante en una persona." Audrey Hepburn from the iconic Jumpology series of photos by Philippe Halsman

Philippe Halsman's portrait of Audrey Hepburn =) so awesome. Halsman said: "Starting in the early 1950s I asked every famous or important person I photographed to jump for me. I was motivated by a genuine curiosity. After all, life has taught us to control and disguise our facial expressions, but it has not taught us to control our jumps. I wanted to see famous people reveal in a jump their ambition or their lack of it, their self-importance or their insecurity, and many other traits."

Audrey Hepburn died from Carcinoid Cancer in her appendix. Like other celebrity Carcinoid victims, the media gives the wrong cancer type for whatever reason. Maybe because they want to report something they feel others can more commonly relate to or understand? Maybe because they just have the wrong information?
