Unopened can of condensed milk + 8 hours on low (completely submerged in water) in the crock pot + cool down in the fridge = Caramel! This is the best cararmel I've ever had, let alone made! It's so easy! Need to try this!
Caramel in Crockpot: One un-opened can of sweetened condensed milk. Take the paper off. Place the unopened can in a crock-pot. Completely submerge tin water. Cook on the 'low' setting for 8 hours (lid on). Take the can out. Keep unopened. Dry it off & let cool down in the fridge for at least 2 hours before opening. Cooling the can is the key. You will have delicious caramel to dip apples in, drizzle on desserts... Enjoy !
- Fill a gallon ziploc bag half full of ice, and add 6 tbsp rock salt. Seal the bag. - Put 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and 1 tbsp of sugar into a pint-sized ziploc bag, and seal it. - Place the small bag inside the large one, and seal it again carefully. - Shake until the mixture is ice cream (takes about 5 minutes.) - Wipe off the top of the small bag, then open it carefully and scoop into bowl. *1/2 cup milk will make about 1 scoop of ice cream, so double the recipe if you want…
The best icing!! All you do is mix one vanilla pudding packet with half of the milk called for on the package. Whisk until it begins to thicken. Then fold in one container of Cool Whip. A great frosting spread on cakes and piped onto cupcakes, a tasty filling in crepes or on waffles along with some fruit...way less sugar too!!!!
I had this Baked Pineapple at a restaurant a few years ago, and it made me moan, it was so good. It's a baked pineapple, stuffed with coconut, crushed gingersnaps, macadamia nuts, sweetened condensed milk and a bit of rum. Tastes like Hawaii on a plate.
A classic cake gets individual! Perfect for parties and easy to make, 5 ingredients is all it takes! The combination of mouth-watering caramelized sugar, sweet pineapple and cherries on buttery cake is sure to please.
