Lovely vignette spots in the garden with natural pebble paths

This reminds me of a place I camped as a child. The moss was so thick it was like laying on a feather bed, and the smell was so fragrant and sweet.

Could we build a two tiered side table that has a moss garden covered by a larger lath table top? Would they grow? Would it be too strange looking?

Hmm, imagine making plastic ones of these, and painting them. I say that because I'm rather afraid that real ones would only last like a week. -- Maybe that thing in the center could be a candle, or something... maybe a holder for a yard lamp :)

Entodon seductrix is the top of the list. Entodon seductrix is a pleurocarp that grows on soil, wood, and stone. Other sun tolerant mosses include Climacium americanum, Leucobryum glaucum, Ceratodon purpureus and Bryum argentium. These are listed in order of usefulness for your application.

Mystical moss garden...love the sense of mystery this photo conveys. We all need a little more mystery.

I've recently gotten into moss gardens along with my Marimo and air plant obsessions. So far, their pretty easy to put together, but we'll see how long I can keep them alive:) I like the look of this professionally done moss garden. It looks really natural, like a tiny indoor forest.
