Margaret Tudor, Queen Consort of Scotland, daughter of Henry VII, sister of Henry VIII, grandmother of Mary, Queen of Scots. In 1503 she married James IV, King of Scots and their son became King James V.
Kimbolton Castle, Cambridgeshire, England, is best know as the final home of King Henry VIII first wife Katherine of Aragon. Originally a medieval castle but converted into a stately palace. It was the family seat of the Dukes of Manchester from 1650 to 1950. It now houses Kimbolton School
TUDOR ROSE~~ Believed to have been made for presentation to Henry VII, this manuscript contains astrological tables and treatises along with some other texts. This manuscript provides one of the best documentations of the use of astrology by medieval kings in the picture on this page. An inscription on one of the pages gives the date of completion 30 June, 1490.

Bessie, as she was known to Henry VIII., Charles Brandon, and others, "wan the King's harte", late in 1514 or early 1515. She became Henry's Mistress, and gave birth to his son, Henry Fitzroy, who became the Duke of Richmond.
Portrait of King Henry VIII (1491-1547) circa 1535. It was most probably painted whilst the King was still married to Anne Boleyn, and is, therefore, an intriguing glimpse of the man, who had at first courted her in the early years of the decade and married her officially in 1533, before becoming disenchanted by her failure to produce a living son.
