Tony Chancheres is wonderful! It's a cajun like spice. I put it in lots of stuff. It's good in soups, on grilled vegetables, and any meat. It's very spicy, a little goes a long way!

I leave out the garlic powder and add in a can of Rotel tomatoes. Delicious! It's my toddlers favorite food.

You clearly have never eaten italian food... I'm italian and trust me, we NEVER eat pasta with chicken, pizza with chicken, salad with chicken or lasagne with chicken. I don't know where does this come from, but it's clearly not an italian dish. Chicken is never a side dish, we only eat it grilled or cooked in the oven, that's it.

I don't know if you've noticed, but in America we pretty much bastardize every type of ethnic food.

I've been a Sicilian my whole life Asia, my families ravioli contains ground chicken and veal. It depends on WHERE your family originated from. Just like the sauce vs. gravy debate it could be argued all day. So just because you don't eat it as and Italian and I do doesn't mean it's NOT Italian/Sicilian. If you have it in your blood you have it in your blood. People need to stop acting like they are more than another person than another.

Excuse me, do you live in Italy? If so, you would know that chicken with pasta is bullshit and there's no way we eat it. Is this some kind of a joke? You've got to stop inventing ridiculous dishes and pretending they're Italian, 'cause it's embarassing. I know what I'm talking about 'cause I do live in Italy and I cook and eat italian food everyday. People need to stop pretending they know italian cuisine just because someone in ther family lived in Italy like 3 generations ago. Get real.

Wow take a fucking chill pill. There are way more important things in the world than arguing over a fucking recipe. If you don't like it don't make/eat/or pin it. Get over yourself.
