    The Windows-Eyes software program allows visually impaired individuals to use their mouse as a highlighter of sorts. When the user scrolls words, programs or images, the synthesized speech generating device reads to the use what is being highlighted. For individuals experiencing vision loss, they can use the arrow keys to navigate the through various documents, while the software translates the document in to synthesized speech.
