DIY: by-your-side ironing board - tv tray. What a great idea for a small board in your craft room

I did this with an inexpensive wooden TV tray, 6 layers of batting and some pretty fabric and placed it right next to my sewing machine. No more getting up and walking to the ironing board! Just turn, iron seams and keep sewing!

This is such a great idea for small spaces since it can fold away easily. Perfect for rvs, craft rooms etc. !!! Love it! (By-Your- Side Ironing Board by katbaro, via Flickr)
