Homemade Granola -  I use less oil, and add some water - 2 Tab.  If you microwave the oil ( canola), honey, brown sugar and water, the sugar DISSOLVES and mixes to completely coat the dry ingredients!  Also - I bake mine at lower temp - 275 and stir a lot.  This stuff can burn really fast, so be patient! I make mine with almonds, pecans, walnuts, shredded coconut, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds.  All that gets coated and baked.  When it's cool, add any fruit - I use raisins and craisins!
