such a great collection - plus the hanging of Ugli dolls on the wall

I'm digging the 3rd picture down. Was planning on doing 1 long shelf, but perhaps 2 differently sized shelves over the sofa would be titser:)

a picture wall - why does this always look better online than when I attempt it at home?

I am going to have to get a photo wall going. I think I'd rather have lots of bright frames than plain but we'll see. Have to find the right spot first.

This is the other hallway picture art I had in mind....less linear, but bigger scale. Maybe I'll keep the linear and the black frames of my other pin but do a bit more of the hallway, like this?

I'm thinking a collection of irregular shadow box frames with keepsakes and key photos to chronicle a grown child's life - yep that's YOU

choose your frames to be what you want them to be, then put the photos in them with large mats - instead of framing specific sized photos....big frames with oversized mats look so cool, and coordinating the mat color to your room pulls all sorts of randoms photos together

love how the white frames make the thermostat fit right in instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.

Total surface area you want to cover, divide into sections with 2 inches in between, buy cheap frames at wal mart, order cropped prints on ezprints.com...Did this to my wall but added 3 demensional art pieces and metal work in between frames.. looks awesome!

Mount pictures in black and white as art for one wall. Or you can have each thin frame a different color with the white backing and b/w photo.
