Another great poster to hang in an Intermediate level classroom. Encouraging students to use the correct terms and know punctuation usages, will enable students to be able to use them in their writing. I always like to challenge students to use a punctuation piece they may not use in every day writing. By including a chart like this in the classroom, students can refer to it when choosing which punctuation they may want to try out.

Explains beginning and advanced punctuation. Can be a handout for students to refer to, or a overhead.

Punctuation--what if instead of buying this, I have the students work in groups to make a "snapshot" of one punctuation mark and then make into a class poster?
