Teaching Kids to Count On- This post has EIGHT different ways to help kids learn how to count on, plus a great Addition Eggs Freebie! #kindergarten

Using number cards and cubes to teach number order, numeral writing, and counting. (Mrs. Byrd's Learning Tree)

My preschooler had so much fun with these free monster number cards... he'll be counting to 100 in no time!

This free and fun activity is designed to increase number fluency from numbers 1 through 10. Students pick a colorful card and follow the directions to count from a starting number to a specific ending number. (For example: Start counting at 4. Stop counting at 9.) Print the cards on heavy card stock and laminate for a reusable resource.

TDEA! Use something like this to teach rounding...kids use grid paper, showing the number in rows of ten. Which ten is it closest to?
