Garlands of hearts from felted sweaters. Or felt. Or paper. Hearts, or polka dots (vary the sizes!) or whatever suits your consignment or resale shop. Great volunteer activity for you NFP thrift shops as well!

Holiday garland - Cut pieces of ribbon and/or fabric that are approx. 9 inches long by 2 inches wide.  Both ends should be cut on an angle to prevent fraying.  Knot each piece of ribbon & fabric onto a strand of lights.

Easy make wreath. Use 1 yd of various-colored fabrics (depending on holiday or your decor), cut or torn into 1x6 in strips. Bend hanger into circle, use longer fabric strip to cover hook at top. Tie strips on, alternating colors/prints until wreath is full. Fluff & hang.
