There's nothing better than the smell and feel of an old book! Sometimes I think I want to get a kindle, but it just wouldn't be the same as reading a good old fashioned book!

Only read nine of these so far. I think The Glass Castle is next, thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law who is the perfect person to recommend a book. I wish I had her in my classroom to cater to the continual requests for good recommendations in the genre of (fill in the blank).

This is what my stack of books from the library looks like right now.

And a truly good book is the one that keeps you from opening another for a while, because you need to sufficiently get over this one before starting over again.
