let it go- "get over it!" or "give it to god" or more eloquently - "...grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference." If you can do that, life is soooo much better.

I have never seen/ heard this quote ever before and after watching "How I Met Your Mother" this week I have heard it on the show, seen a FB status quoting it and it just popped up on pinterest. I think someone is trying to tell me something.

Absolutely true. Going to Mass on Sundays is actually the bare minimum. We should also receive Communion and Penance regularly, and develop an active prayer life. Because of how much it lays out the spiritual logic of Salvation in Christ through the Church, I can't recommend the daily Rosary enough. If surrendering your life to God seems daunting, then doing these things allows Him to take over itty bit by itty bit.
