    Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter cookie dough frosting. For the Chocolate Cupcakes recipe you need 1 (18.25 oz.) box Devil’s Food, 1 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil, 4 eggs. For the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough “Frosting” you need 12 Tbsp. (1.5 sticks) butter, room temperature, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 cup brown sugar, packed, 1/2 cup, granulated sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips.

The Perfect Chocolate Cupcake with Salted Caramel Buttercream--This was AMAZING! We paired it with a Deschutes Black Butte 24, and a Perennial Abraxas 2011 (aged 1 year) which mellowed out the chile but there was still a taste of it. All around great cupcake, and fantastic with a nice porter or other strong flavored beer--the cupcakes enhanced the flavors by offsetting the bold beers.
