Not a fan of the rustic look BUT I like the idea of having a nice sign that says this at the entrance so there is no seating arrangement.

  • Sandra Hale

Doing this: no seating plan - i seriously think this is the coolest idea. not only does it take a HUGE amount of stress off for the bride and groom, but it gives everyone a chance to mingle and introduce themselves... after all, they are family now! :)

I loved the idea of the long rows for seating. However, looking back, I wish I would have done round chairs because the rain pushed us inside and made the seating quite difficult! Success: No

i know that one of my brilliant brides could come up with an amazing play on this ;)

A little too redneck inspired, but I like the idea of the directory sign. We'd need to add something about eboats

DIY Wooden Sign "A Perfect Marriage is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other!" : can purchase this one or make your own with wood or floor tile + vinyl lettering!

The days of "Bride's side" and "Groom's side" are over, at least for couples under 50. Other signs abound, such as "Pick a seat, not a side." // sign

I like the idea, also like "as two families become one, we ask you to pick a seat not a side" for the ceremony. Perfect for our wedding.

Maybe this is why we have made it so long:) Large Wood Sign A Perfect Marriage Subway Sign by dustinshelves

Love this sign. Perfect, much better than the boring old tried and true "backdoor guests are best"
