Sutton Slice is a polymer clay technique developed by Pete Sutton. Insructions: little pieces of raw polymer clay are pushed into the recesses of a rubber stamp, until all the recessed areas are filled to the rim with clay. A sheet of clay in contrasting color is pressed onto the stamp to adhere to the clay pressed into the stamp recesses, and then the stamp is gently peeled away from the clay sheet. This was a cute idea. i made my own buttons out of homemade salt clay from another pinterest idea. i made 2. 1 for me and 1 for my boyfriend. i then colored each button our favorite colors and used the matching colored string :). very cute!
