Donkey,One feature of donkeys that many people notice is their unusually loud ability to call. Donkeys are much louder than horses due to the fact that they did not evolve running in close herds. Donkeys do stick together, but over much larger distances; therefore, their call evolved to be very loud and can carry for over 3 kilometers. The large ears on donkeys also evolved to hear the calls from long distances.

Brandy no longer sleeps with a baby monitor now that she's given birth to her foal, Stormy. Their Elkmont owners use baby monitors in hopes of hearing when one of their miniature donkeys is giving birth.

I would rather hear a donkey bray than an alarm clock beep! (not sure if the neighbors will agree)

Um not to be weird or anything but waking up to a donkey is the worst experience in life. A normal alarm clock is way better. Trust me I know.

Braying donkeys are waaaaay more awesome than alarm clocks! I've slept in a tent in their meadow and it was the happiest waking up ever.

*****We called him "Alec" and he was such a stubborn old mule. We had two of them when we lived in the revamped, tarpaper, shack at Concord, KY.....***njoy

I was attempting to avoid the pain of working long hours, even though working long hours was an inevitable consequence of my choice. I was also unwittingly seeking to increase Mac’s authority over me. I was #GivingHimMyPower, my freedom. I was saying in effect, “Take charge of me. You be the boss!” Whenever we seek to avoid the responsibility for our own behavior, we do so by attempting to give that responsibility to some other individual or organization or entity. --M.
