The Shire? Nope. This picture was taken in Hofskirkja, Iceland in the late afternoon. On the picture is a little church made from wood and peat (turf). It's one of the last peat churches in Iceland. The humps in the grass are ancient graves. Photo: Menno Schaefer

Greenhouse in the backyard...I want the rain barrel with spigot!

I have 14 windows and am going to try this. Maybe not this design, but it's a start

Beautiful. I bet Gail has one of these in her corner of heaven. You were an extraordinarily talented woman.

Have a lean-to greenhouse! They have the advantage of getting some heat from your house in winter, either heat that would be lost, or if it is very cold, you could open windows into the greenhouse to let your house heating system heat it. Much simpler and less dangerous than any greenhouse heater. On warm sunny winter days, the greenhouse will actually add heat to your house. And Humidity. And Oxygen.

Potting Shed / Greenhouse. not a bad idea for an outside shed and gardening work room
