Banyan trees grow in India and are found in Florida as well. The first banyan tree planted in Florida was planted by Thomas Edison at his winter estate in Fort Myers, FL in 1925. That tree is now considered to be the third largest in the world and now encompasses about an acre of land.
Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree (Eucalyptus deglupta) - Also known as the Painted Gum Tree, this memorable specimen is known for its outstandingly smooth and highly colorful bark. Fast growing to 120 feet it is found on all the Hawaiian islands but is not common in the wild.
