I've been on the fence about reading this because I was worried I would feel like that afterwards. It sounds so good, but also so sad...

How many people have waited here, I think. How many people have sat here where I am sitting now and waited for news of their loved ones. I cannot help imagining what those jaundiced walls have seen. just started this book today. i'm only on page 24 and am already finding it intriguing.

Eat Pray Love; Elizabeth Gilbert - Not quite as good as it was cracked up to be & some spots seemed harder to read than others but I definitely enjoyed this book.

*sob* Amazing, melancholy, heartbreaking book. Wouldn't you know it? It's about WWII. Could not stop reading. Cried like a baby. I'm a mush.

well, if you've read the kite runner you can't wait to get this into your hands as well... a wonderful, horrible story, well told... so well written, broke my heart...

One of the most moving and interesting books I have ever read.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - Narrated by Death, beautifully constructed and full of really interesting characters. This one has become one of my all-time favorites.
