I love the Bravo Board idea! I use a similar system in my class now. A weekly group is considered "Bravo Table" that gets a small prize for working hard together all week. I reward points for being on task or having great small group discussions. I like the emphasis on group cooperation/teamwork! It's a better lesson to teach the kids than individual competition and it has the added benefits of behavior management!

Bravo Board - Each group works together to earn points. At the end of the week, the group with the most points gets to put their name in for a free homework pass and earn the "Bravo Table" title for the entire next week!

Bravo Board- week winner is the "Bravo Table" that gets a small trophy on their desk for the whole next week. I like the emphasis on group cooperation/teamwork. Not sure if I'll have desks or tables to work with in Honduras, but I would love to set up my room with group tables/desk clusters. That'd be ideal. I'm not always into competition, but if classroom management becomes difficult, this is a great idea!

Setting and enforcing strong expectations for group work from the beginning of the year can make all the difference in the world.

Love this idea for teaching students how to work in groups!

A simple list of classroom reward ideas which can be use as a positive reinforcement aide in the classroom....

Put a different colored dot on each desk in a group. When you need to have one student from each table do something, you can just simply say "Green dots, come get the papers for your table." or "Orange dots, take your table's trash to the trashcan."

Create a cheery classroom with brightly colored paper lanterns!

Best "Beehavior" Catalog - might try something like this rather than making coupons like I saw on another site...easier to manage, less to lose! ~A

Each kid in the group has a job and wears one of these...on the front is a picture with their job name and on the back is the job...exs. problem solver/time keeper/voice controller etc.

Good ideas for behavior management--very involved and does need tweaking, but I will steal ideas from this one!

FREE! Nice Notes! Positive Notes for Students! Need a BIG stash of these on my desk for easy access!!
