Fiery-throated Hummingbird - There are about 338 different species of hummingbirds. There are few other birds that rival the spectacular iridescence of the Fiery-throated Hummingbird. Found only in the cloud forest of Costa Rica and western Panama.
The hooded oriole (Icterus cucullatus) is a medium-sized New World oriole. The adult male has an orange head with black on the face and throat; they are black on the back, wings and tail, orange on the underparts. These birds mainly eat insects, nectar and fruit, and will also visit hummingbird feeders.
